Rather than using flavourings \u0026amp; pink colouring they decided to use only local, fresh \u0026amp; seasonal rhubarb - that gives this gin a sharp rhubarb tang \u0026amp; it's distinctive yellow hue.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWhat you will find in the bottle is still very much a 40% ABV gin (not a liqueur!) bursting with rhubarb juice \u0026amp; rounded off with sweet vanilla notes:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul role=\"list\"\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"list-item-12\"\u003eAs with any great gin, juniper leads from the front, here it is supported by orange peel, angelica, coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg \u0026amp; orris root.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"list-item-13\"\u003eThey take their botanical distillates \u0026amp; then cut them to bottling strength with pure, local, rhubarb juice rather than water (the rhubarb juice is from Manningtree, just north of Colchester).\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"list-item-14\"\u003eTo add balance to the sharp rhubarb juice they add a small amount of golden syrup (which is made with a waste product of the sugar making process).\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"list-item-15\"\u003eThey then add pure \u0026amp; natural madagascan bourbon vanilla to give this gin the iconic taste of Rhubarb \u0026amp; Vanilla.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"list-item-15\"\u003eFinally, before bottling, they do a secondary infusion with locally grown rhubarb (done by painstakingly hand peeling rhubarb sticks) to really kick the Rhubarb up to 11! \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLastly, after mixing, all of their products are mixed with a pinch of local sea salt plus naturally filtered \u0026amp; perfectly preserved Essex spring water from our friends at Elsenham spring water (www.elsenhamwater.com) this gives all of our products a delicious minerality \u0026amp; full mouth feel.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e*Please note: All orders containing alcohol are dispatched via a courier service.
