What products do you sell?  

Stort Valley Spirits’ flagship range is Riverside Spirits, which Hugh and Charlotte Munro hand-produce using the finest ingredients in Cheshire. Hugh is Emma’s cousin, and we are thrilled to finally be selling the delicious range after many years of being consumers! We also stock The Essex Spirits Co rum, gin and vodka; Four Acres Estate’s sparkling white and rosé wine, as well as its cider; beer from Redchurch Brewery, New River Brewery and The Belgian Brewer; Alcohol Free Beer from UNLTD; The Big Bear Cider Mill cider; The Coffee Officina’s fresh ground coffee; and an incredible selection of the finest local produce sourced from all over Hertfordshire and Essex. We are constantly expanding our offer, so please check our shop for the products we currently have in stock. We specialise in corporate gifting using sustainable, ethically sourced produce. Where possible we shop locally and support other small businesses. Our packaging is produced in Roydon, our tasting cups are from Harlow and our display stands are hand-crafted by a local bespoke carpenter. 

What flavours do you stock?  

We have over 30 flavours of gin, vodka, rum and whisky liqueurs, plus a variety of beer, sparkling wine and cider. Some of our flavours are more popular than others. We aim to have our full range in stock at any time but occasionally – due to high demand – we may run out. Rest assured, even if we are out of stock, your order will be with us within a few working days. Please see our shop for full details of all products currently available.  

Are your products suitable for vegans?  

Our Riverside Spirits range is not only suitable for vegans, but it is also gluten and nut-free. Other products vary, so please check the individual product pages for allergen information. We can provide a full list of allergens for all products upon request.

How do you recommend serving Riverside Spirits?  

All of the Riverside Spirits lend themselves to different serving methods. You can’t go wrong with Prosecco or tonic, but we also love adding them to cocktails or drizzling them over ice-cream. Please see our tasting notes for recipes and serving suggestions. 

Where do you sell your products?  

Stort Valley Spirits is based in G207 Weston House, The Maltings, Sawbridgeworth, CM21 9FP. We are open by appointment only. Some of our products are available on our online shop or at local stockists. You can also find us at local farmers’ markets and events.  

How do I order your products?  

Please visit our online shop or drop us a message. .   

Is there a charge for delivery?  

We offer free delivery within 5 miles of CM21 for orders over £25 and within 10 miles for orders over £50. We also offer a collection service, free of charge, from Old Harlow and Sawbridgeworth. You can collect orders at events we are attending. 

Which areas do you deliver to?  

We offer delivery to Harlow, Sawbridgeworth and surrounding areas, including Roydon, Bishop’s Stortford, Matching, The Hadhams, Epping, Nazeing, Hertford, Ware and Broxbourne. We also deliver to other areas of Essex and East Herts.   Delivery charges may apply. 

What days do you offer delivery?  

We can offer delivery to Harlow and Sawbridgeworth most days. For other areas, please contact us.    

Do you offer a click and collect service?  

Yes. This is available free of charge at Old Harlow or Sawbridgeworth.   

Do you ship your products nationally?  

Yes. We offer a secure courier service to ship individual alcohol orders nationally. It can be quite costly to ship bottles and we strive to keep our margins as low as possible so we can bring you the spirits you love at a cost-effective price and we do try to avoid shipping if possible due to the increased costs of shipping. All our non-alcohol items can be shipped nationally. Shipping is free for orders over £150.  Shipping costs are calculated at the checkout.

I am holding a party and need larger quantities. Can you provide this?  

A party isn’t a party without spirits, wine, beer or cider! We can deliver your chosen products to your home or directly to a local venue. Please contact us for more information.   

I would love to have Riverside Spirits products at my wedding. Can you help with this?  

A resounding yes! Emma and Rob had 5cl Riverside Spirits bottles as their favours and place settings, as well full-sized bottles as part of their ‘Pimp your Prosecco’ drinks reception. Please find more information here.   

I would like to order a large number of items as corporate gifts. Do you offer this?  

Absolutely! We partner with several companies on corporate gifting and will customise packages based on your budget. We only work with small local businesses, so any purchases from us will directly support independent companies in the Herts and Essex area.    

I am interested in stocking Riverside Spirits in my pub, shop, venue or restaurant. How do I get more details?
